Michigan Football: Week 11 Thoughts

- 10-1 going into game.
- Just like it is supposed to be.
- Big difference between 2020 2-4 and 2021 is that this team is having fun!
- Two huge special teams play in 1 game, WOW.
- Any one else wonder why Henning keeps returning KOs instead of fair catching and starting at 25 instead of inside 20.
- UM had two 3 and outs in the 1st quarter.
- This cannot repeat next week.
- I just shake my head at C Johnson.
- Two easy drops and catches the 3 tough ones.
- For all his toughness between the tackles, Haskins does bounce well.
- It was nice to see UM use some rub off routes successfully.
11a. Wheel route to D Edwards was thing of beauty.
- UM needs to clean up flags before the whistle.
- Still too many alignment issues.
14, It was great top see UM execute a successful 2 minute drill.
- One negative, Cade held the ball too long at times.
- Three youngsters with talent to be outstanding made key plays yesterday.
- 1, Anthony made a great catch that led to 1st TD.
- And we got a preview of just how talented D Edwards can be.
- We also got a clue of just how talented #9 can be.
- Love JJ’s grit, but hope he learns to slide.
- Linebackers have to be better getting off blocks.
- Will UM ever fix their issues with running QBs.
- UM much improved in flow and pursuit.
- Hutch in particular was much better at staying flat instead of getting way up field.
- Loved the corner blitz. Great Scheme!
- A pet peeve, UM players missed tackles and then jogged after the ball.
- I am liking safety Moore better each game I see him in.
- Dax Hill made me smile with his play maintaining proper leverage.
- UM got a break with Taulia being off target multiple times in 1st half.
- Pick 6’s are a awesome.
- This team has showed a grit and toughness we have not seen from a UM team in some time.
- Tackling was spotty at times. This cannot repeat next week.
- We all know what is next. Until next week, GO BLUE!
