Impressions Maryland

- An Ugly win, is still a win.
- Entire team seemed out of sync today.
- The thing that P*ssed me off most, defense running around confused.
- No excuse at all players having issues in the secondary with alignment or assignments.
- That is day 1 Crap!
- I cannot remember the last time so many UM DB’s had issues staying on their feet.
- You cannot fall down in coverage. That will get you beat against top teams.
- 2nd biggest complaint, missed tackles. Counted 3 on one play.
- I might go back and count number of times UM had chance to get off field and failed.
- Then again I might not, not sure I want to be that mad again, LOL.
- I will give the D-Staff some props.
- They Made a few 2nd half adjustments that were the difference in the game.
- I commented earlier in the season UM needed a between the tackles run thumper.
- Today’s game is a perfect example of why.
- Interior linebackers were very slow to fill. especially in the 1st half.
- Not quite sure why Maryland stopped running the ball, but sure glad they did.
- Pressure on QB definitely picked up in 2nd half.
- In ability to finish is concerning.
- There is no excuse for our #1 defense to give up that late TD to back up QB.
- Do give defense credit for creating those turnovers. Proved to be the difference in the game.
- I wish the offense had shown more patience.
- Forcing the deep ball against those deep zones is folly.
- Hope JJ learned a valuable lesson.
- Some improvising is good, too much is crazy.
- I thought overall stretch blocking was improved.
- Why did UM stop running those short flood routes. They were open all day.
- Blake Corum is a STUD!
- Give Ronnie Bell a helmet decal, his block on Corum’s end of 1st half TD was a thing of beauty.
- Seemed JJ and WR’s were not always in sync.
- Not sure why WR’s did not comeback when JJ pressured or why they did find open space in secondary.
- Not sure why offense ran Gash in 3rd and 3, short passes were clicking.
- Offense needs to learn to take what defense gives them and stop thinking they need big a play every down.
- After reading this some of my Blue Brothers are probably thinking, and I thought we won, LOL.
- Until next week, Go Blue.
