Impressions Indiana

- Hoping Coach Hart is healthy and back on the sidelines shortly.
- This post will not use his health as an excuse for UM’s offense woes.
- The officials were awful.
- This post will not use the Zebras as an excuse for UM’s sloppy play.
- UM closed out the Hoosier’s on the strength of their play at the LOS.
- UM’s defense and offense line dominated the 4th and most of 3rd quarters.
- Win the LOS and you win the game.
- Much of UM’s offense woes were caused by Indy’s offense IMO.
- We have talked about this numerous times, best defense is your offense making opponents offense stand on the side lines.
- That is exactly what Indy did, kept UM offense on the sidelines.
- Tough to get into a rhythm.when you are standing on the sidelines.
- JJ continues to grow as a QB.
- Used his legs judicially and showed more patience than he has in the past.
- Anyone else shake their heads when UM easily scored on 1st possession and then struggled rest of the half.
- That is 2 straight weeks for that.
- UM’s pass pro was amazing.
- JJ had all day and time to check down and go through his entire progressions.
- Offense staff is going to need to find away to spread defenses.
- Two straight weeks defenses have loaded the LOS and hurt UM’s offense.
- Talk about tale of two halves.
- Have to give defense staff props, great adjustments.
- Defense did get frustrated by officials in the 1st half.
- Cannot allow this to happen again.
- My #1 concern on defense is linebacker play.
- Indiana exposed that in 1st half.
- Not sure why Indy stopped running the WR screen, but sure am glad they did.
- UM has allowing Indy to out number them vs twins and trips into the boundary.
- UM showed two or three nice stunts up front.
- My favorite was the X game between Mazi and Barrett.
- If he stays healthy, Moore has shot at being UM’s next dominate edge rusher..
- His 1st step is amazing, but he also shows the same skill as Hutch. He gets superior leverage dropping that inside shoulder.
- That takes superior bend that many taller rushers don’t show.
- Thing this defense does well, makes offenses 1 dimensional.
- Another huge difference between halves, secondary tackled much better in 2nd half.
- Final props to the offense, awesome drive to close out the game.
- Hold on, here comes Penn State. And we will get a better idea where we are.
- Until Next week, GO BLUE!
