GBMWolverine Message Board Readers: Here is a overview of University of Michigan recent signed commitment Brendan Gibbons.
Height: 6’0″
Weight: 215 lbs.
High School: Cardinal Newman (Florida)
High School Coach Don Dicus
Position: Kicker
Recruiter: Coach Tony Gibson
Class: 2009 Recruiting Class (Signed)
Brendan Gibbons:
Overview:
Can help out either as a kicker or as punter.
Strengths:
He has a strong leg who can reach the end zone from college distances. Gets super hang time on his kick offs. He is capable of consistently hitting fifty-yard field goals and in his approach on field goals, he moves quickly.
Needs Work:
His distance on the approach is too long on field goals. He will, more than likely, have ot shorten his approach distance. He will also need to learn to kick without a kicking tee and his steps could be more consistent.
Final Thoughts:
We welcome Brendan Gibbons to Michigan and hope he has a successful career on and off the football field as a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
